2024 Valedictorian

St. Cecilia Academy
The Valedictorian for the Class of 2024 has a schedule brimful of honors and AP classes, and she has earned an extremely impressive GPA.
A four-year member of the Principal’s List, she has also earned awards for multiple courses, including AP Calculus AB and French Pre-AP. In addition to achieving a perfect score on the ACT Reading section, she can claim yet another rare accomplishment: earning a math ACT score of 35 on her very first attempt!

When our Valedictorian participated in Governor’s School for the Humanities, her professors described her as “delightful,” “academically superior,” and “the kind of student professors love to have in class.” An SCA teacher reports that she almost always broke the curve on tests, while another describes her as “thought-provoking, creative, and downright fun.”

This would be enough to keep anyone busy, but our Valedictorian can also be found winning a nomination for the Spotlight Awards, attending the Notre Dame Summer Scholarship program, logging over 50 hours of service for the Dominican Cross award, and serving as a club officer for Theatre Guild, the National Honors Society, and participating in Mu Alpha Theta, the French Honor Society, Service Club, Student Council, choir, and the Ambassador Board. She is, perhaps, most recognizable as one of our acting stars, leading several Theatre Guild shows including Annie and Little Women.

A good student, a good artist, a good leader, and a good friend, our Valedictorian has blessed our halls for four years, and while we are sorry to have her go, we wish her all the best as she continues her adventures studying at Georgetown University, where she will major in government and philosophy and minor in math. Congratulations to the Valedictorian of the Class of 2024, Miss Elizabeth Winston Adler!
