We have a lot of fun at SCA! Whether dressing up in goofy costumes during Spirit Week or hanging out and chatting before and after practice, St. Cecilia girls study, play, and pray in an environment that inspires them to an abiding sense of purpose. Our emphasis is on each girl’s personal growth in an environment where she is encouraged to discover her talents and take risks.
Students have many opportunities to get involved in St. Cecilia’s vibrant school life, from sports to clubs to off-campus service and travel. Through these activities, girls discover new interests, like Robotics or Theater or Mock Trial, and in the process exercise leadership in all kinds of ways. But the thing that stays with girls long after they graduate is the reality of friendships that stand the test of time thanks to the close-knit, supportive community that began during their years at SCA.
Every day begins with advisory, a family within a family made up of small groups of girls from every grade who are mentored by a faculty advisory. In this mini-community, girls across the grade levels get to know and appreciate one another through shared conversation and celebration. The result is an atmosphere of peace, joy, and authentic human connection free from the pressures of technology and unreal expectations.
