GO SCARABS!!!

The soccer team showed their toughness last night against Davidson Academy as they battle for almost 2 hours in 100 degree heat. They showed heart in the way they refused to back down against the quick forwards of Davidson Academy. Despite letting in a few goals, we adjusted and finished the game with some of the best defense we’ve played all year! Because of this we were able to force turn overs, string together a series of passes and attacked the other end where we put 10 shots on their goal with 2 finding the back of the net, one from Alle Epstein with an Assist from Mary Pearson Woods who then turned around and got herself a goal later in the first half.  I am extremely proud of the way everyone played last night and the willingness to play different positions and compete all over the field!
