    Job Description:
    Join Overbrook Catholic School and St. Cecilia Academy as a marketing team summer intern. You will work with a creative and collaborative group and gain experience with website design, social media strategy, ad creation, and content management. Specific projects include assisting with photography, website refreshes, editing admissions and handbook information, and creating content for the coming year. The work of the Marketing and Communications department enhances the visibility of the campus schools and makes them attractive to the community. We appreciate new ideas and different perspectives and look forward to you joining our team.

Junior High

  • Director of Junior High

    Responsibilities: In close collaboration with the Principal, the Director of the Junior High ensures that the mission of St. Cecilia Academy is lived among the junior high faculty and students by immediately overseeing the junior high academic program. In particular, the Director guides the Art of Living course and may also teach in this department. The Director of the Junior High is first an educator who can lead teachers by word and example. The Director oversees Junior High student events and implements student life policies in a way that embodies the Catholic understanding of what makes for true human flourishing, thereby giving the students an experience of a culture rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

    Qualifications: a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a background in teaching junior high students and experience mentoring teachers; strong organizational and event planning skills; excellent communication skills; dedication to Catholic education; understanding of challenges girls face today and the ability to speak to their heart, helping them walk in the freedom of truth and love.

  • Junior High Personal Counselor

    Part-time or Full-Time
     
    Responsibilities: Conduct classroom workshops and small group sessions. Oversee implementation of social-emotional curricula. Counsel students on an individual basis related to behavioral, social, spiritual, and emotional issues. Work as a team with a counselor who primarily serves grades 9-12. Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student concerns and needs. Document counseling sessions and student concerns. Additional duties may include assisting with junior high activities and trips, providing referrals to mental health treatment/programs, educating parents and faculty/staff about behavioral, developmental, and mental health issues, and arranging speakers for parents and students as needed
     
    Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited school, minimum two years related experience

  • IT Senior Support Technician

    Summary:
    • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. Collaborate with users to identify and resolve hardware and software problems. Assist users/departments in researching solutions and implementing requests. Assist the Network and Client Services Officer with infrastructure and server projects.
    Duties and Responsibilities: 
    • Install, configure, maintain, and diagnose computers, laptops, and peripherals, including but not limited to printers, audio-visual, and wireless devices.
    • Use approved tools and methodologies to image, copy, and configure systems for deployment.
    • Place warranty calls and replace parts as needed.
    • Configure, monitor and support mobile devices, including iPads and cell phones.
    • Serve as Helpdesk backup, record trouble calls, and do first-line troubleshooting.
    • Research, test, and evaluate potential new technology solutions.
    • Assist with system administration functions such as managing inventory and licensing, software updates and workstation antivirus.
    • May assist in the management and installation of servers and other infrastructure, including wireless networks.
    Knowledge and skills sought:
    • Knowledge of a variety of widely used computer hardware and software and the ability to troubleshoot problems therewith.
    • Familiarity with network switches, routers, and firewalls is a plus
    • Ability to set up and support Apple iPads and applications.
    • Thorough knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems and Microsoft 2016 Office Suite, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
    • Experience with Windows servers (Some knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and Domain Controllers desirable)
    • Knowledge of computer imaging with knowledge of FOG is a plus
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including communicating technical concepts to non-technical users and creating detailed and thorough documentation.
    • Basic understanding of virtualization with knowledge of Microsoft Hyper V a plus
    Job Requirements:
    • Associate degree or higher in computer information sciences or related field. Minimum of 4 years experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer workstation hardware, software, and peripherals. Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
    • Experience in an educational environment is desirable
    • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and occasionally on a ladder.
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines.
    • Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be punctual and present a professional image.
