Junior Sofie Vaughn Wins Debate and Receives First Speaker Award
Sofie Vaughn '27 won her first debate tournament at the 54th annual Marshall University John Marshall Speech and Debate Tournament in Huntington, WV, on February 20 and 21.
Vaughn won first place in the Big Questions Category and received the First Speaker Award.
She has debated since her freshman year and is the Forensics Club Parliamentarian.
