MEN'S AND WOMEN’S RETREATS
Spend some time away with Jesus on this directed, silent retreat at Bethany Retreat House, owned and staffed by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia. The retreat offers opportunities for daily Mass, confession, spiritual direction, retreat conferences, and times of extended silence for prayer, study, and rest.
The retreat house offers comfortable accommodations with individual bedrooms for each retreatant, and access to the Eucharistic chapel, the great room with fire place, library, balcony/deck, and outdoor trails. Meals are all provided in the dining hall.
Cost $250.
Father Doug Grandon will be the retreat Master for both retreats.
Father Doug entered the Catholic Church in 2002 after nearly 25 years as a Protestant pastor and missionary. Though he was married with 6 children, he was ordained a Catholic priest in 2008 with special permission from Pope Benedict XVI.
He has served as Director of Catechetics for the Diocese of Peoria, teaches at the Augustine Institute and St. John Vianney Seminary, serves as parochial
vicar at St. Thomas More Parish in Centennial, Colorado, and currently serves as a National Chaplain for FOCUS in Denver, Colorado.
Father Grandon holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Historical Theology from St. Louis University and post-doctoral work at Oxford. His broad perspective draws from his years in ministry, his work with students at all levels, his formation of future priests, and his pastoral experience in a large suburban parish. Do not miss this retreat!
