Serving Others in North Carolina

Several St. Cecilia Academy students spent part of their summer helping the hurricane-affected areas of North Carolina.
Six students, Adeline Brault ’27, Kara Halvey ’29, Georgi Karmo ’27, Megan Knapp ’27, Agnes McGibbon ’27, Maria Wade ’27, and St. Cecilia math teacher Rachel Knapp attended the St. Matthew Catholic Church "Servio Deo" trip to serve communities in Black Mountain, North Carolina.

Participants attended daily Mass, contributed to service projects, took part in adoration and confession, and fostered meaningful connections along the way. We are proud of our amazing students and Miss Knapp for using their gifts and talents to serve others this summer.
