Christine Plageman Mayhaus '03

Christine Plageman Mayhaus, a 2003 graduate of St. Cecilia Academy, is the 2024 SCA Outstanding Alumna of the Year. This honor is given each year to an alumna nominated by her peers for her service and commitment to SCA, along with leadership and outstanding service in her family, faith, community, vocation, or profession.

Christine Mayhaus checks all the boxes. She is a freelance graphic artist, wife of 15 years, mom of three young children, and a former fashion and print designer.  Christine has been a leadership volunteer in her parish and is passionate about working with young adults.

Christine's commitment to SCA is commendable. She serves as a Class Agent and, in recent years, has worked on a design team to refresh the original SCA buildings. Christine specifically worked on the new classroom signage throughout the school, the Cantantibus displayed in the former window transoms of the main hallway, and the new stained-glass artwork depicting the life of St. Cecilia, which is outside of the Chapel.

We look forward to celebrating Christine at the June 1st Alumnae Luncheon.
