Kaylee Contreras is the Scarab Nation Athlete of the Week. Kaylee is a junior and this is her first year as a member of the swim team. When asked about Kaylee and her contribution to the team, head coach Joe Helmer said, "Despite being a first-year swimmer on the SCA swim team, Kaylee, a junior, has established herself as a valuable member of our team. She always puts forth her best effort, supports her teammates, and keeps a positive attitude. During swim meets, Kaylee can always be found at the end of the pool, cheering, and encouraging her teammates. She exemplifies what is means to be a team player and to lead by example."
