St. Cecilia Academy presents The Rose Gala; Event to honor Mr. Francis Horn
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 19, 2016) — St. Cecilia Academy will host The Rose Gala on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 6 p.m. at the Hutton Hotel in downtown Nashville. The Rose Gala is St. Cecilia Academy’s largest fundraising event, with proceeds benefiting current year operations.
The evening will begin with a cocktail reception in the Hillsboro Room where guests can bid in a silent auction. The cocktail reception will be followed by dinner in the Vista Ballroom. The night will conclude with a live auction where several big-ticket items, including vacation packages, are scheduled to be auctioned.
The 2016 Rose Gala is chaired by Kathy Dortch, current parent of Molly ’17 and Kate ‘19. The focus of the evening will be assistant athletics director Mr. Francis Horn, who will be honored for his 27 dedicated years of service to St. Cecilia Academy.
“The funds raised from The Rose Gala are vital to ensure that we are continually able to enhance academic programming and curriculum development, upgrade classroom and laboratory technology, and maintain the school’s physical facilities,” said Deb Fay, director of development at St. Cecilia Academy. “We look forward to honoring Mr. Horn as our families and friends come together to build community, celebrate our accomplishments, and most importantly, support St. Cecilia Academy,” Fay continued.
The ticket price for the 2016 Rose Gala is $100 each; patron tickets (which include ticket to a Patron Party on March 3, 2016 and a ticket to The Rose Gala) are $150 each and a reserved table of 10 is $1000.
