Nora Doyle '22 is the Scarab Nation Spotlight Athlete! Nora is a junior, captain, and starting goalie on the varsity lacrosse team.
When asked about Nora, head coach Chloe Page said, “Nora is a very strong player who shows dedication and leadership. Her hard work both in and out of season lead her to set the record for single saves in a game (19) and her vocal leadership on the field is a huge asset to our team defense.” We sat down with Nora to find out what makes her such a great teammate and leader.
Question: How long have you been playing this sport?
Answer: Since Freshmen year.
Question: What do you love most about this sport?
Answer: I love my team!
Question: Do you have any pregame rituals or traditions?
Answer: Naomi Numbers always does a pregame cheer to get us hype!
Question: Do you have plans to compete collegiately?
Answer: Yes.
Question: How close are you all as a team?
Answer: Very close! We love each other.
Question: What are your goals for this season?
Answer: To break my personal record for saves in a game and to win more than last year as a team.
Question: What do you attribute your success to?
Answer: We had a great group of seniors last year that really helped me find a love for the game.
