Admissions Process

Application
Completing and submitting the Application is the first step of the Admissions Process. Doing so enables the Admissions Team to generate an individual Checklist for your daughter, so you are easily able to track her progress in the Admissions Process in mySCA. Your daughter's Admissions Checklist will be updated regularly as items are submitted or completed.

Candidate Questionnaire
The Candidate Questionnaire must be completed by the Candidate in the mySCA Admissions Portal. Parents may use their mySCA login credentials to access the Questionnaire from the Checklist.

Transcripts
The Transcript Release Form must be submitted by a parent/guardian to the Candidate's current school. The school will process the request and send her Transcripts to St. Cecilia Academy directly. Transcripts emailed or sent directly from a parent/guardian to the St. Cecilia Academy Admissions Office will not be accepted.

Recommendations
St. Cecilia Academy requires the following Recommendations for consideration of admission:
- Math Teacher Recommendation
- English Teacher Recommendation
To request each of the Recommendations above, log into the mySCA Admissions Portal and click the "Start" button on your daughter's Checklist.

ISEE Score Report
For the Junior High Admissions Process, St. Cecilia Academy accepts an ISEE Score Report.
ISEE at St. Cecilia Academy - January 29- St. Cecilia Academy will host the ISEE on January 29.
- Check-in begins at 8:30am in Alumnae Hall.
- The test will begin promptly at 9:00am.
- To register, or to browse additional ISEE dates and locations, visit the ISEE website.
- You must provide the code above when registering your daughter to take the ISEE (at SCA or another location), so the Score Report is sent directly to St. Cecilia Academy.
- YOU WILL NEED OUR EVENT CODE -- CLICK HERE TO REQUEST THE EVENT CODE FOR REGISTRATION.
- The ISEE is limited to St. Cecilia Academy applicants only.
- St. Cecilia Academy will host the ISEE on January 29.

Family Interview
The Family Interview Day will be held at St. Cecilia Academy on January 8 from 9:30-3pm. You may register from your daughter's Admissions Checklist in mySCA. More details will be emailed to registered families as we approach January 8. Parents/Guardians and the student are both expected to attend.
Candidates from Overbrook School- NOT REQUIRED as part of your Admissions Process.

Shadow Days
Experiencing the life of a St. Cecilia girl firsthand is essential to the Admissions Process. We encourage you to schedule a Shadow Day for your daughter, so she can spend time with our girls, attend classes, meet our faculty, and gain a better sense of the unique all-girls environment St. Cecilia Academy offers its students.
How do I schedule a Shadow Day for my daughter?
Click here to schedule a Shadow Day! We invite girls in grades seven and eight to schedule Shadow Days.
General Information:- 9:00-1:30pm
- Snack & lunch provided
- Wear your current school uniform or an outfit you are comfortable in, but that is appropriate for school.

Visit Days
The Admissions Team coordinates Visit Days with participating Partner Schools for grades 6-8. Visit Days are led by the Admissions Team and Student Ambassadors to provide prospective students the opportunity to experience an overview of life at St. Cecilia Academy.
We strongly encourage all prospective students to also schedule a Shadow Day, which enables a more in depth understanding of what it means to be a student at St. Cecilia Academy. Shadow Days are coordinated around your daughter's individual interests. -
Campus Tours
The Admissions Team is thrilled to welcome prospective families to campus for a private tour. Campus tours are offered on weekdays.

Junior High Fireside Chats
- September 28

All Fireside Chats will take place from 12:00-1:30pm.
This is an informal event for prospective parents of 6th and 7th graders to learn more about St. Cecilia Academy. Enjoy lunch from our Dining Hall in the Library with our Principal, Sister Anna Laura, the Admissions Team, members of the Administration, and Student Ambassadors. Learning about SCA's academic and extracurricular programs, the all-girl experience, and much more.

6th Grade Girls' Night Out - October 8
Friday, October 8
from 7:00-9:00pm
The St. Cecilia Academy Student Ambassadors invite you to join them on campus for a fun-filled evening of music, games, and more!
While the group leaders will be dressed in SCA spirit wear that represents a particular decade, participants are welcome to wear red, black, and/or white attire. Participants are also encouraged to reach out to any SCA alumnae to borrow a piece of their old spirit wear or uniform! As the oldest continually running high school in Nashville, the St. Cecilia Academy Student Ambassadors thought this would be a fun way to celebrate their school and to share its legacy with all of you!
Online registration will be available soon and it is required for all who wish to attend. No walk-ins or late registrations will be accepted. The 6th grade girls will be divided into small groups. Thank you in advance for your understanding! -
