
The St. Cecilia Theatre has many uses, including the following: Mass, theatre productions, guest speakers, dance recitals, St. Cecilia Day, Arts Parts, Baccalaureate Mass, campus retreats, faculty and staff in–service, and community use.

St. Cecilia Academy drama teacher writes and directs original drama The Light on the Hill for sesquicentennial celebration
Award winning SCA drama teacher Cathie Correia Stamps wrote and directed an original historical drama for St. Cecilia Academy's 150th anniversary celebration in the fall of 2010. The drama, that also featured music, was one of several fine arts events that celebrated the anniversary of SCA.
The Light on the Hill featured scenes or vignettes ranging from the beginning of St. Cecilia in 1860 to present day. Mrs. Stamps wrote interludes that honored St. Dominic and Sister Mary David, a former St. Cecilia Academy theater teacher and supporter. The St. Cecilia Academy Players performed in the vignettes representing all those SCA actresses of the past.
