Laura Chapman, president of the SCA Dance Ensemble, has a natural passion for dance and choreography and has taken that passion to another level.
Part of dance ensemble night’s huge success this year was due to Laura’s hard work and planning of the dance ensemble night gala – similar to the gala evenings for the SCA play productions. Laura took the initiative and put together committees chaired by Dance Ensemble parents. The parents happily complied and provided decorations, concessions, food, etc.
Dance ensemble night was a rousing success and the gala organized by Chapman brought the evening to a dramatic celebratory close. Donations of $300 were also raised to go towards uniforms for next years dance ensemble.
Kudos to Laura for a job well done.
