Additionally, St. Cecilia offers “shadow” days: these are special days that allow prospective students a unique opportunity to experience a typical class day at St. Cecilia. There are 2 types of shadow days: group and individual.
Group shadow days, in which the entire class of 8th grade girls at a local grade school are invited to spend the day at St. Cecilia, are observed on specific dates in September and October. Individual shadow days may take place at any time and offer a 7th or 8th grade student the chance to accompany a St. Cecilia “student ambassador” to classes and lunch — generally, a half–day event.
Group shadow days are handled through the St. Cecilia Office of Admissions and the grade school. If you are an individual interested in shadowing a St. Cecilia student, contact Betty Bader at 615–298–4525 ext. 377 or email admissions@stcecilia.edu.
