Book Collection
The St. Cecilia Academy Library has over 14,000 volumes. The non–fiction collection
is arranged by the Dewey Decimal Classification system. The Biography section is
shelved separately. Fiction books are shelved alphabetically according to the
author's last name. The reference collection is separated from the main collection
and may be used in the library exclusively.
Periodicals
The Library subscribes to a variety of magazines that
support the curriculum and provide recreational reading. Current issues are
displayed on the magazine racks and older magazines are available in the library
as well. The library subscribes to the Tennessean and the New York
Times.
