For graduation from St. Cecilia Academy, students must complete a course of study that demonstrates both breadth and depth in the academic areas. This includes required and elective courses in the eight academic departments, including English, mathematics, science, history, world language, religion, fine arts, and computer technology. A physical education requirement must also be completed.
Specific graduation requirements for St. Cecilia Academy are outlined below. These requirements satisfy or surpass the usual courses of study expected for entrance to selective colleges and universities. In spite of this, nearly all of our students exceed our graduation requirements, often by adding to their courses of study by completing four years of math, science, and world language. Many choose additional electives in English, history, and the fine arts.
